After reading The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and researching, I discovered that the author, Douglas Adams, had died 8 years ago. Naturally, I decided to write a tribute to such a great author, and put it in the form of a poem. I like to call it
"Thanks For All the Fish".
"Thanks For All the Fish".
The world will blow up,
What about my collection
Of tea cups?
I forgot my towel,What about my collection
Of tea cups?
That will be a shame,
How will I defend myself,
How will I earn my fame?
The dolphins message,
And here we thought,
That they wanted food.
If you've read the guide,
Then you should know,
We're mostly harmless,
Shame we died.
So one last message,
From the dolphins.
They would like to pray,
That we would understand,
What they'll say.
What they'll say is this,
"So long, and thanks
for all the fish."
